Are you looking to make a positive impact in your community? LSI is seeking a Caseworker to assist refugee and immigrant populations in Waterloo. Multilingual Applicants are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do The Caseworker is responsible for providing supportive services to refugee and immigrant clients, including, but not limited to skill development, case management, advocacy, and resource connection. Our Caseworkers should know the basics of outcome-based performance measures, and be willing to help clients develop goals and facilitate service plans that enable each client to meet their personal goals. Caseworkers will meet with clients in person or via telephone during normal business hours, as well as in the evenings and occasional weekends. What You'll Need Required: Bachelors degree in health and human services + 1 year of full time, related health and human services experience. Will also accept equivalent education and experience, including Associates degree + 3 years OR a high school diploma/GED + 5 years of related experience.
