Key responsibilities

Package product from line that weighs between 18-50 lbs. per bag.

Must be able to lift bags to place on pallets, from floor to over shoulder, repeatedly. (approx. 1 bag/minute)

Will observe product from line for proper color, texture and smell. Examples are provided to compare to. Will notify lead or supervisor immediately if something appears incorrect.

Completes paperwork which includes but is not limited to: move tickets that are attached to each pallet, line sheets summarizing production, animal feed tickets for sale and readings of product/equipment (when needed).

Procuring samples from production line for testing by QA Team.

Qualifications and skills

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be self-motivated.

Must be able to work both independently and in team environment.

Must be able to tolerate physical and environmental demands of the position.

Must have some work experience doing heavy manual labor within the last 5 years.

Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Previous manufacturing/food production experience preferred.
