Job Description

This project will be broken into 3 phases:

Deployment: install and deploy the newly acquired hardware and peripherals in preparation for Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) and Epic Go Live.

Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR): Epic capable devices need to be tested for all documented functions

Go-Live Support: offer last minute deployment, testing, configuration or routing to sites and devices prior to Epic software cut over and production usage. In addition to activities immediately prior to ‘go-live’, this team is a surge support function for sites once on the software. This team takes direction from the command center and can be rapidly mobilized for onsite device troubleshooting and installation or reconfiguration.

Additional Skills & QualificationsPC Break/Fix Experience (Looking for 1 of 3):

i. PC break/fix in a professional setting

ii. Completed their education – bachelors or associates in computer science or CompTIA Certifications (A+, N+, Sec+, etc.)

iii. High technical aptitude, built their own computer, can showcase their technical ability through screening questions

Employee Value Proposition (EVP)Resume building (working with Trinity Health, one of the largest health systems in the country, and on an Epic readiness project, a very popular skillset needed in all hospital systems)

Work Environment- Will be interacting with everyone in the hospital (patients, doctors, nurses), to include close proximity to patients. taking strict health and safety precautions as it relates to health matters.

Ability to be on feet all day

Need to be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Must have reliable Transportation

implementing a systemwide Electronic Health Record system called TogetherCare, powered by Epic, across all our 80-plus hospitals. This a part of their common platform and common build initiative, so their care protocols and order sets are the same for similar conditions across the organization. Those are ways to improve care and improve efficiency.Why is the position open - upgrading their EHR (Electronic Health Record) system.
