Maintenance Position Available-20-30 weekly hours.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Communicate regularly with facility manager on facility performance and needs.
Responsible for day-to-day repair of the property including routine inspections and maintenance.
Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Good problem solver/troubleshooter and performing preventative maintenance.
Ability to ensure units are clean and maintained upon move-out of customers.
Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.
Ability to keep accurate maintenance records.
Determine proper materials and equipment that must be ordered.
Ensure physical safety by eliminating/fixing hazards.
Meet with vendors/subcontractors as needed.
Coordinate maintenance projects with third-party organizations when necessary.
Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Available for urgent maintenance issues.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
Maintenance Worker Requirements:
Proven maintenance experience.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Must have own tools and transportation including driver's license.
Ability to check repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary.
Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
Experience performing routine maintenance.
Strong organizational and follow up skills.
Professional presentation and attitude.
Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
Strong time management skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge a must.
