Chassis Prep Technician$18/hr. DOEMon-Fri 6a-3:30pAre you an experienced Automotive Electrical Technician looking for a Career instead of a job? If so, this position is for you An established manufacturer of premium service trucks in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Chassis Prep Technician to join their growing team! The Chassis Prep Technician will utilize their experience and knowledge in chassis electrical wiring, assembly, chassis troubleshooting and diagnostics, as well as electrical component installation.Responsibilities:
Complete electrical wiring installation and modification on various chassis makes and models.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical problems on all units.
Maintain a working knowledge of chassis model changes and updates.
Test 12, 24, 110 and 240 volt parts and associated systems to ensure they are working accurately.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
3-4 years of related automotive/diesel mechanical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior ASE Certification preferred.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow blueprints, technical drawings, electrical schematics and other written directions.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, area and volume.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. frequently.

Starting Pay: $18/hr. DOE
