Production - Durant
A manufacturer of harvesting components in Durant, IA is hiring for 1st shift assemblers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Independent review and fulfillment of pick tickets
Independent setup and preparation of items for shipment
Maintains quality service by following organization standards
Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintains clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a positive and creative attitude towards working in a warehouse environment
Experience in a manufacturing environment (min. 2 years)
Ability to work within a team and learn new roles
Experience with quality management and inspection procedures a plus
Demonstrated reliable work and attendance history
Forklift certification a plus, or willingness to become certified
Lifting of up to 75 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently
Exhibit competency in basic organizational and communication skills
Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals
High School Diploma or GED
Hours:
M-Th 6:45a-3:30p, F 6:45a-1p
Pay:
$12-$13 DOE
