Full-time OR Part-time Feedlot Maintenance Worker
Weber Beef, Inc. is looking for a driven individual to join our fast-paced yard maintenance team! Team member will be responsible for a range of essential tasks including operating heavy equipment, loading and removing manure to keep pens clean, assisting with pen maintenance, water tank cleaning, and ensuring upkeep of equipment and facilities. Experience working with cattle and machine maintenance is preferred.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to…
-Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping of yards, equipment, and buildings.
-Identifying and communicating all maintenance needs and concerns.
-Safely moving cattle to holding pens as directed.
-Operating heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers and tractors with efficiency and skill.
-Performing equipment sanitation and preventative maintenance in the facilities and on equipment including washing, greasing, checking oil levels and fueling.
-Loading and removing manure from pens to keep them clean.
-Bedding and leveling pens after cleaning.
-Draining, cleaning, and maintaining water tanks to ensure the health and well-being of livestock.
-Assisting other areas of the feedlot as needed.
-Adhering to OSHA and safety procedures, rules, and regulations at all times.
This position requires…
-Valid Driver’s License.
-Vision abilities including distance and depth perception.
-Working in and around cattle and their manure.
-Working in extreme weather conditions such as rain, snow, wind, heat and cold.
-Working possible extended hours and weekends if needed.

Schedule:
Preferred Hours—Monday–Saturday 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Flexible and negotiable. Once hours are negotiated, you must commit to them. Willingness to occasionally work nontraditional hours and holidays is preferred.
Pay:
$15- $20 hourly [based on experience]
