JOB SUMMARY: Position is responsible for preparation of product for lagging application by sandblasting and priming.JOB DUTIES: Must be capable of operating sandblaster and proper equipment (mask/helmet and rubbers for boots).
Must be able to prepare product for sandblasting by covering hubs.
Must be able to prioritize assignments by ship date.
Clean up is necessary throughout the shift.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.M. charts.
Detect and report faulty operation, defective material and unusual conditions
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 60 pounds.
Capable of being on one’s feet for up to ten hours per shift.
Ability to check paperwork to match product.
Ability to read and effectively use all gauging and instrumentation.
Ability to prioritize work assignments.
Adhere to ISO 9001 Standards.
