In this role you will manage the customer- and dealer-facing published information for the assigned business unit, the development and implementation of sales promotions, advertising campaigns, events, product launches, product trainings and public relations communication plans We’re looking for an organized individual with strong project management skills and a desire to try the new and different.What You’ll Do

Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer-focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.

Maintain accurate product identity information for assigned segment business unit (SBU) on all published channels, both digital and print. This includes managing equipment specifications, features and benefits, literature, photo/video collection, etc.

Coordinate sales and dealer trainings and all marketing aspects of global launches to meet segment and market needs while supporting the corporate branding strategy.

Research industry, market, and competitive trends to collaborate with regional and dealer marketing groups to incorporate market and customer insights to position product launches.

Collaborate with advertising agencies to establish project deadlines for the SBU, dealers, regional entities and affiliates.

Coordinate miscellaneous promotional activities and materials for the assigned SBU in conjunction with supporting vendors and agencies to manage social channels, content creation, media relations, creative needs, tradeshows, special events, etc.

Develop engaging and educational materials and trainings for customers and dealers through hands-on demonstrations and simulation as needed.

Infuse customer insight across the business. Create compelling brand values based on customer insights and understanding to consistently deliver the Vermeer brand promise to dealers and customers.

Use standard tools, processes and collection methods to collect data, feedback and help develop reports to be analyzed by the team.

Serve as a support person for association events and tradeshows. Provide event execution oversight and guidance to the SBU.

What We’re Looking For

Four-year college degree in Marketing, Business, and/or Communications.

Zero to two years of experience in marketing or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize to meet deadlines while maintaining positive interpersonal relationships.

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of client, customer or internal teams.

Ability to identify industry trends and apply them to key marketing programs.

Ability to research and identify tactics to increase revenue and/or brand awareness.

Competent in the Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop and InDesign preferred.

Knowledge of Vermeer equipment/product/markets and competitive landscape preferred.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work LocationONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus.
