Transportation Planner

Description We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our client's team! As the Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and consolidating orders, monitoring deliveries, providing specialty mode transportation services, and acting as a liaison among various departments. Responsibilities: Organize and consolidate truckload orders Monitor deliveries and assist carriers in resolving issues as necessary Provide specialty mode transportation services such as LTL, Intermodal, and Bulk/Ocean Container Communicate with relevant parties as necessary to resolve issues Support shipping locations with rush shipment arrangements and problem resolution Act as a liaison between Sales/Customer Service, Transportation, and Warehouse departments Assign and tender LTL and TL shipments to preferred carriers using available/appropriate transportation management systems Support other activities and projects as dictated by business priorities.Requirements Proficient in Transportation Management Familiar with Transportation Management System Ability to Coordinate Logistics effectively Experience in managing Travel Logistics Demonstrate capability to handle Customer Shipments Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of relevant computer applications.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
