We are seeking eight dedicated individuals to join our team as Packer Handlers for our entry level production, reporting to the molding department. This role is key to our operations, with responsibilities including monitoring injection molding machines, ensuring quality parts are produced, and maintaining effective communication. The Packer Handlers will be expected to alert the mold tech or maintenance team in the event of a bad part, stack and pack material upon completion, and keep the work area clean and safe. Additional duties will include inspecting products for quality assurance, assembling products, preparing product identification and packaging labels, and assisting with material handling tasks as needed. In the event of an interruption in production, Packer Handlers will be responsible for cleanup and other tasks as assigned by the team leader or supervisor.

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Muscatine, Iowa.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a semi-climate controlled plastic injection mold facility. It requires standing for long periods of time, a good grip strength, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work also involves being near moving mechanical parts and working in high temperatures and humidity. Protective clothing required includes steel toes, jeans or long pants, and safety glasses. The facility accommodates 100 employees across 3 shifts.
