Our client, a North American brand of exterior and interior building products is seeking a Prodction Operator responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support production and maintenance operations. The role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work as part of a team to ensure efficient and safe operations.Job Title: Production OperatorLocation: Fort Dodge, IAPay Range: $20hrWhat’s the Job?

Setup: Safely and efficiently set up manual and CNC equipment.

Pre-Production Check: Inspect machines before starting production.

Measurement & Inspection: Use tools like dial calipers and tape measures to inspect parts and verify dimensions.

Quality Control: Inspect products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

Reporting: Accurately report production in the ERP system, ensuring correct details.

Material Coordination: Notify the material handler of needed materials in advance and verify correct materials are issued per schedule.

What’s Needed?

Experience: Experience operating CNC equipment.

Skills: Proficient in using measuring tools for inspection.

Attention to Detail: Ensure high-quality production and accurate reporting.

Communication: Effective communication for coordinating materials and reporting.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
