Job DescriptionThis position will coordinate medical services for the general incarcerated individual population to meet applicable policies and standards by: completing I/I clinics at ICIW. Provide medical screening to the I/I's to include assessments of acute or chronic medical health problems, obtain & collection a database of the I/I's health and psychosocial history, perform a complete physical examinations and order diagnostic test to include labs, x-rays, KEG's or referrals to off-site specialist at UIHC. Minimum Qualification RequirementsGraduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Nursing and certification as a clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse practitioner or registered nurse anesthetist;ORgraduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with satisfactory completion of a formal advanced practice educational program of study in a nurse practitioner program and appropriate clinical experience as approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing.For additional information, please click on thislink to view the job description.
