Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves seeking a welder to work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility. Successful applicants may perform material handling duties, weld various materials using multiple welding processes, and/or perform quality c checks on products.In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Conduct all job duties with safety as a priority and in compliance with safety rules.

Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards.

Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.

Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.

Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.

Ability to read blueprints.

Follow all safety and work instructions.

Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as required.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

High School diploma or GED required.

Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time: strength in arms and legs.

Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.

Use of precision measurement tools and gauges.

Shop math and capacity to complete calculations using handbook formulas.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

2-3 years of welding experience and/or welding certification or schooling.
