Position: Temp Summer Grounds Worker Job Summary: Perform general maintenance, upkeep, cleaning or grounds work to maintain or improve the condition of District buildings, grounds and/or equipment. Wage:$14.00 /hour Essential Functions :

Basic lawn care tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, spraying, raking, planting, composting/mulching, top-dressing, etc.

Maintain District grounds including drainage, landscaping and sodding.

Maintain athletic facilities including line painting, string trimming, infield dragging and field chalking.

Clean Buses

Sharpen or clean tools such as mower blades, weed cutters, edging tools and shears

Exercise knowledge of proper safety techniques (including but not limited to: wearing proper personal protective equipment, handling of materials, lifting techniques, use of all equipment and climbing apparatus)

Ensure quality work through effective monitoring of grounds appearance

Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
