West Delaware County Community School District has two full time PE Teacher positions at the High School and Middle School levels to start in August 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. A 5-12 Physical Education endorsement is required and 5-12 Health endorsement is preferred. Coaching and other extracurricular contracts are available, including Middle School Activities Director, football, wrestling, cross country, and strength and conditioning/weight room supervisor. Additional teaching assignments may be assigned.
The West Delaware School District is the home of the Hawks. Our district has a student enrollment of approximately 1,400 students in grades PK-12. We have three attendance centers: Lambert Elementary serving PK-4, West Delaware Middle School serving 5-8, and West Delaware High School serving 9-12. Our district has PLC time scheduled every Wednesday starting at 1:30 and our school district is 1:1 using Chromebooks. Lambert Elementary and the Middle School are located on one campus. Both schools are PBIS schools that also have a focus on social emotional well-being of all of our students and staff. West Delaware High School is a few blocks away and is considered a state and regional leader in work based learning.
