Your responsibilities on the Cloud Engineering team will be to help accelerate the rest of our R&D organization; by providing domain expertise, designing opinionated CI/CD patterns, and helping drive the adoption of our patterns across the business. Candidates should be familiar with AWS cloud architecture, Terraform, Gitlab CI/CD patterns, serverless architecture, Kubernetes, Docker and Docker Compose, and Python. Experience with GCP and Azure is a bonus as we are a multi cloud organization.Responsibilities:How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!
Designing CI/CD patterns that meet our 90% use cases.
Providing knowledge & training in Cloud architecture patterns.
Writing and Supporting Terraform for managing Infrastructure as Code.
Providing support to engineering colleagues
Participating in an on-call rotation for team-owned services
QualificationsRequirements:What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
5+ years of experience in a software engineering role writing clean and maintainable code
Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration
3+ years of experience with using Infrastructure as Code to manage AWS or other cloud providers
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is preferred
Preferences:
Expertise in Python
Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting microservices is preferred
Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is $110,170 - $152,170 yearly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.
