Our client in Johnston is seeking a Sanitation Technician to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be working in a greenhouse/research facility operating floor scrubbing equipment, a power washer, vacuum, and various tools. Operate a ride-on floor scrubber, power washer, vacuum, and handheld blower.
Perform routine greenhouse sanitation tasks like discarding regulated material, destroying waste, cleaning pots/containers, cleaning and growing sanitizing rooms.
Use Various cleaning products.
Troubleshoot machinery.
Work around plants and pollen.
What’s Needed?
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, HS Diploma.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, twist, grab, be able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to tolerate hours of repetitive work in a warm, greenhouse environment with pollen present year-round.
Detail oriented and can follow instructions.
Excellent communication skills.
