Job DescriptionHow will you make an impact?The Quotes team prepares and submits quotations to customers for products and equipment. The Quotes team member will partner with the Sales Force to ensure that quotations are accurate, agree with Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ policies, have proper approvals (based on dollar limits of authority) and are received by customers on or before the due dates. This team assists sales with sourcing product, applying the appropriate government contract pricing to formal bids and quotes.Key Responsibilities:

Achieves operational goals such as timely responses to requests, meeting quotation deadlines and achieving quality standards.

Follows established service quality standards and meets established processing times and follow-up actions in accordance with departmental standards (after call work, order enter accuracy etc.)

Follow Quotes SOP

Stays abreast of new processes and initiatives with the company.

Works with other departments within Thermo Fisher Scientific and with our suppliers to find solutions for both internal and external customer requests.

Creating customized quotes and formal bids.

How will you get there?Education, skills and experience

High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in an inbound call center environment with a minimum of 6 months experience in a Thermo Fisher Scientific environment

Must have current or former experience in a Thermo Fisher Scientific CSR I/Band I role.

Demonstrated proficient level of customer service in a Call Center Environment

Demonstrated proficient communication skills. Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and diffuse customer dissatisfaction.

Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Strong problem solving, organization and planning skills, with attention to detail.

Experience working independently and within a team.

Solid understanding of computer basics (Windows, Excel, Word, Email, and Internet) and solid understanding of mainframe
