Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Product Owner in the dynamic industry of Agile Project Management, located in JOHNSTON, Iowa, United States. As a Product Owner, you will play an instrumental role in guiding our development team and ensuring our product aligns with business needs throughout the development process. Responsibilities: Lead the management and prioritization of product backlog to guide the development team effectively. Foster strong communication within the team and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Utilize analytical thinking for decision-making processes that impact the product and business. Engage in active collaboration with stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment of product vision. Manage stakeholder communications and conduct stakeholder meetings to understand needs and expectations. Oversee the development of application roadmaps, outlining the product's future direction. Exercise technical understanding to support the team and contribute to product development. Display robust project management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. Undertake stakeholder management, building and maintaining strong relationships. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in a product owner role or similar Demonstrated proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology Proven experience in backlog grooming to ensure efficient workflow Ability to take full ownership of the product, understanding and addressing its needs Experience in creating and managing application roadmaps to guide product development Strong ability to engage with project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey product updates, challenges, and solutions Experience in stakeholder management, including conflict resolution and negotiation Comfortable conducting and leading stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product direction.
