Meadowview of Johnston, a new senior community in Johnston, Iowa, has a wonderful opportunity for Licensed Practical Nursesto join our team. Our 106-unit campus includesindependent living (46-units), assisted living (39-units), and memory care (21-units) options for our residents. Students studying for their RN license are welcome to apply! There are Part-Time (Day, Evening, Night) benefit eligiblepositions available. Working two 8 hour days and one 4 hour day per pay period. Pay: $22-$27 per hour depending on experience! Benefits:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.
Coaches and trains new staff.
Assists with assessments for incoming and current residents.
Hands-on working with residents and staff.
The new build will entail set upof procedures and equipment.
Scheduling and staffing responsibilities as we grow.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Skills and Requirements:
Must be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing and have current IowaNursing license.
Memory Care experience is a plus.
Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
