Salary to be determined based on candidates experience and qualifications.
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm or 8 hours to include a scheduled event
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work with a team and delegate tasks efficiently
- Prior food and beverage experience
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time and lift 40 lbs repetitively
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Requirements:
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Customer service attitude
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential wedding clients for consultations
- Conduct menu tastings for wedding couples
- Build estimates for wedding receptions to aid couple’s planning
- Manage a small staff of catering servers and/or bartenders during events
- Oversee cold food prep and set up at catering venues
- Maintain (and improve) good relationships with venues and other vendors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keep events moving according to established timeline
- Exceed customer expectations and maintain 5 star reputation
- Work day-to-day catering office in between wedding client communications and booking
