Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Iowa City. This role involves managing and maintaining our fleet, including annual inspections and repairs on various vehicles such as box trucks, tractors, 18-wheelers, and minivans. The ideal candidate will be ASE certified and either hold a CDL or be willing to obtain one.Responsibilities
Triage and schedule repairs, service, inspections, and diagnostics based on priority.
Perform tasks such as changing brakes, filters, wheels/tires, and light changes (low voltage electrical).
Order parts and maintain an organized inventory.
Manage relationships with external providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
Conduct annual inspections as well as pre and post inspections.
Maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program utilizing technology to log and track repairs.

2+ years of heavy mechanical experience OR a technical degree in a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer skills.
