Conductix-Wampfler, a growing industrial products manufacturer is looking for a qualified fabricator to join our team. Qualified candidates will be self-directed and quality minded. We want to add team members who take pride in their work and have the ability to solve problems in a team environment. Qualified individuals will possess the following skills:

Have a minimum of 2 -5 years of experience in a fabrication and job shop environment

Have experience operating the following machines; auto saw, shear, ironworker, press brake, CNC plasma table, laser jet, water jet, tube bender

Would prefer to have someone with programming and layout experience with CNC nesting software

Must be able to read blueprints

Primarily will operate the CNC laser, waterjet, and brake press; however, other fabrication responsibilities will apply. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Required to effectively operate the machines in the fabrication department. This includes but is not limited to the CNC laser, waterjet, and brake press. Individuals must be accurate in recording inventory transactions and labor times. Understanding where to find information, such as inventory levels, in SAP is necessary. Internal motivation to see the successful implementation of laser, waterjet, and brake press. MIG/TIG Welding/Certification. This includes improving own knowledge of machines and operations. Continuously looking for opportunities to fabricate items more efficiently and documenting the savings. Maintain a long-term vision of developing the growth of the fabrication department. For example, looking for opportunities where we could produce an item on the laser at a less expensive cost than is currently being produced. Use good time management tools to work at a steady rate. Various activities are required in the fabrication department; it is the responsibility of the individual to determine what activities must be completed first. A quality mindset is mandatory for this individual. Understands, supports, implements, and sustains 5S program initiatives and goals. Supports and upholds the quality and EHS policy. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as dimensions and quantities as well as conversion from the metric. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS The requirements for this position include:

Familiarity with SAP.

Good communication skills to interact with colleagues.

Good critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems related to parts quotes, orders, and inquiries.

A high degree of diligence to ensure quality products and correct documentation.

Ability to work at a steady pace, even with interruptions and some time pressure.
