Responsibilities The university is seeking a qualified individual to fill the part-time position (30 hrs/week) of Accounts Payable Coordinator Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

Process payment requests, maintain vendor records, and act as the organization's point person for receiving, reviewing, and processing payment requests.

Utilize our paperless AP system proficiently, requiring comfort with technology and databases.

Act as the liaison with Paymerang for payment processing.

Train faculty and staff on accounts payable and credit card systems, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Maintain vendor W-9s and prepare and submit required IRS 1099 filings.

Work closely with departments to ensure proper documentation and approval of credit card expenses.

Investigate and resolve complex vendor issues in coordination with various campus departments.

Generate reports as needed.

Assist auditors for the purpose of providing support and documentation.

Provide support for multiple and varied projects within the business and finance departments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in accounts payable role preferred

Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Keen problem-solving skills that enable the ability to work independently

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple priorities
