Automotive Paint Touch-Up Technician

Responsibilities – Paint Touch-up Tech:

Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for touching up

Remove rust, fill cavities and dents to create an even surface

Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application

Mix and match paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors

Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency

Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product

Buff and polish vehicles

Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace

Qualifications/Requirements – Paint Touch-up Tech:

Automotive body painting / prepping experience is preferred but not required

I-CAR certification is preferred

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Dependable attendance

A positive attitude and good work ethic
