Join Casey's Asset Protection team as a DC Asset Protection Team Member!
The DC Asset Protection Team Member is responsible for ensuring the safety and physical security of the facility, managing guard shack operations, and conducting asset protection investigations. This role involves implementing controls around Total Loss, safety, and inventory. The DC Asset Protection Team Member will work closely with the DC Asset Protection Specialist to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor guard shack operations to ensure the security of the truck lot. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and address security risks. Implement and follow security protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or violations. Promote a safe working environment for all employees.
- Assist in conducting investigations into incidents of theft, loss, or damage. Implement controls to minimize Total Loss and enhance safety. Maintain accurate records of investigations and security incidents.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular audits. Implement inventory control procedures to prevent loss and ensure accuracy. Collaborate with Inventory Specialists to maintain accurate inventory records.
Requirements:
- High school education
- Knowledge of public safety and security strategies to promote effective, secure operations.
- Knowledge and ability to follow security policies, procedures, and regulations
- Knowledge of and familiarity with problems that arise in safeguarding building and grounds and the procedures used in dealing with them.
- Will be required to attend and complete ongoing de-escalation and intervention training to maintain skill and remain current on compliance matters relating to the field.
- Strong attention to detail and investigative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have the physical ability to drive a vehicle for job related travel.
Preferred:
- Experience in asset protection, security, or a related field.
- Experience in a similar role with a logistics or warehouse environment.

Compensation:
Starting pay range: $15.34 - $20.14. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
