The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling books to our customers at the Farm Progress Show. Octane Press publishes books about farm machinery, and we will be displaying our books at the Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa Tuesday, August 27 to Thursday, August 29. The candidate will staff the booth with author Lee Klancher (also the Octane Press publisher) from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm each day.
The Sales Assistant will restock book shelves, take the orders of customers, check out customers who are purchasing books, and help close down each evening. Our location is in the Case IH building on the Farm Progress Show grounds.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning more about the book publishing and/or the agricultural equipment industry.
$20-28 per hour. Roughly 24 hours of work taking place August 27-29, 2024.
Work takes place at the Farm Progress Show grounds near Boone, Iowa.
Approximately eight hours per day.
