Deever Roofing has been helping central Iowa with all its roofing needs since 1974. We offer a full range of services for both residential and commercial roofing, including comprehensive estimates, tear-offs, new roofs, and roof repairs.
As an administrative assistant, you will be providing customer service in person, over the telephone, and through email. In addition, you will carry out everyday clerical and organizational tasks to keep our business running smoothly behind the scenes. Finally, you will be responsible for closing down and securing the office at the end of the day.
Responsibilities:
- Represent our company to both customers and suppliers
- Monitor and respond to our main company email account
- Manage a multiple-line telephone system to handle both inbound and outbound calls
- Generate customer estimates and invoices
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Close and secure the office at the end of the day
May be asked to assist with:
- Occasional minor material deliveries in provided transportation
Qualifications:
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to efficiently self-manage daily tasks
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to handle high volumes of both incoming and outgoing phone calls
Benefits:
- Weekly pay, $14 per hour
- Work hours are 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday
- One week paid vacation available after six months
