Job Description:
We are looking hard working dependable employees to assist the Plant Buyer with caring for and organizing nursery stock for the landscaping crews. Duties will include the following:
Caring for nursery stock such as watering, pruning, fertilizing, spraying, weeding and keeping our high quality plants in top condition along with the grounds and areas containing our sold items.
Assisting in unloading and distributing plants to sold areas for landscaping jobs that are shipped in from our growers.
Assisting the plant buyer with assembling sold job orders, loading orders going out to job sites, entering daily use tickets for our landscaping crews and counting plant inventory.
Other general nursery duties such as irrigation maintenance, assisting with harvesting balled and burlap trees from our field, landscaping bed maintenance on grounds and occasionally helping retail customers when necessary.
Requirements:
Plant knowledge such as knowing some basic perennials, trees, shrubs and grasses.
Basic computer skills with some knowledge of excel spreadsheets.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling & squatting
Ability to take directions and work on your own when necessary
Have a high level for attention to details.
A great energetic attitude and a willingness to learn!
Pesticide Applicator license for 30T and Roadside (can be obtained while on the job)
Ability to drive a skid loader and a forklift. (Not required – we can train you if necessary)
Must be able to work Monday – Friday or Wednesday - Sunday

Pay Rate:
We offer competitive wages starting at $16 per hour which will be determined on your experience.
