Our farming operation is seeking full time help for our farm. The operation is located in Winterset Iowa. We farm corn soybeans and cow/calf. Would like an ambitious person, with good problem solving skills for entry level farm hand work. Must be able to operate farm machinery and preform basic maintenance.
Responsibilities
Operating machinery such as tractors, end-loaders, floaters, spreaders, sprayers, and trucks
Transporting agricultural products from facility to crop fields
Mixing and blending of chemicals and fertilizers for application
Operating machinery to apply fertilizers and chemicals on crop fields
Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment with hand and power tools as needed
Utilize John Deereequipment and GPS systems monitoring systems
Work closely with leadership, truck drivers, and customers
