Description Hands-On Technical Manager of Data Engineering Position HYBRID position with major flexibility! IMMEDIATE HIRE Data Manager / Data Engineer / Lead Business Intelligence Developer / Data Reporting Analyst / ( Direct Hire PERMANENT ! (This is NOT a Contract to hire position!) Manager titled position where we are looking for a senior Data Engineer who is looking for the next step in their career with a Manager Title but still keep your technical skills sharp with hands on technical work and oversee the technical direction of a team, modernize, & Lead & Build out a Data Lake!Hands-On Technical Manager of Data Engineering. YOU WILL DOING ALL ASPECTS OF DATA, REPORTING, Data Engineering. Must have data warehouse & Data Lake skills. Working with eventual Cloud based solutions. You will be in the technical weeds and technical data day to day BUT you will have a Manager title !WORK HYBRID, WITH FLEXIBILITY EACH WEEK. But MAJORITY OF TIME, You will work onsite in the office. This CANNOT be 100% remote.This is a Permanent Direct Hire Hands-On Technical Manager of Data Engineering position with one of our clients in Des Moines up to 145K with bonus . This is not just a management position, you will be Hands On Technical and need to be able to be comfortable ‘In the Weeds’.PERKS:Bonus, 2 1/2 day weekends !What You Will Need: Technical Hands-On Data, experience working to sort out disparate & complex data from difference sources, and getting it into a Data Lake and working with Excel data Strong SQL experience, working with structured and unstructured data. Azure Cloud experience Data Engineering experience – someone who has worked heavily with the likes of BI Team, Data Modeling, Analytics, Machine Learning or Business Insights. This is NOT a report developer. SSRS (version 12 or higher) - Strong proficiency SQL Server Power BI / data reporting / Dashboarding experience Experience working in a centralized data lake with structured data Experience with data warehousing and Data Lake solutions Data Modeling. Manage Agile team – management experience is highly desired.
