Lead a SMALL team PLUS remain technical long-term Need ability to be comfortable ‘In the Weeds’ / Technical Day to Day of the IT organization, being hands-on. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: Systems administration – VMware, Mid to Large size server management, Networking / Network Engineering – Cisco Meraki experience and Routers, Switches, and firewall experience, O365, Active Directory, & Nutanix is HUGE, general support skills. This is a Permanent Direct Hire Technical Hands On Infrastructure Leader position in the Des Moines IOWA area up to $115K. You must reside in the Des Moines area. You must have Current Technical Infrastructure experience, Technical current HANDS-ON skills in both Server infrastructure, Networking, and previous Lead, ideally some management experience. You will be hands on technical and you will be you will be a difference maker in working with the infrastructure team, being hands on technical and leading a couple of direct reports. You MUST have BOTH Networking and Server Administration / Systems Administration experience:What You Will Need to Be Considered for this IN OFFICE / ONSITE Technical Hands-On Infrastructure Lead Position: Current Tech experience. You will remain technical long-term. Lead a small team of up to 4 technical Direct Reports CURRENT Hands-on Infrastructure experience – Current Technical skills with VMware, Server support / Windows, O365, Exchange OnLine, V-Sphere, Azure and SAN Storage, PLUS Networking including Cisco Switches & Routers, and Cisco Meraki. Hypervisor technology / Nutanix is a plus! Powershell Scripting is a Plus. O365 and Cloud experience Systems Administration & Network Engineering Strong Project management skills. Proven ability to take ownership & drive to solution! Financial and Vendor procurement / Purchasing knowledge! All engineers do some level of support. Proven track record of Developing & Mentoring technical Staff. You must have Technical enough skills to UPSKILL a Technical Team, and address the technical gaps.
