Now Hiring - Skilled CarpentersLocation: Des Moines, IowaStatus: Full-time / Weekly PaySchedule & Pay: Monday - Friday / 7:00 am - 4:00 pm / $24-$28 hr.Job Description: Currently seeking carpenters to perform a variety of carpentry tasks using wood and metal framing techniques. Your expertise will be critical in constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures. You will work collaboratively in teams to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean work environment.Key Responsibilities:
Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures in residential settings.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications.
Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures/fixtures as needed.
Perform framing and rough carpentry as well as trim and finish carpentry tasks.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Drivers License and Reliable transportation
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in professional carpentry work (commercial or residential)
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Expertise in various carpentry techniques and use of hand/power tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Work Environment:
Work Site: This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.
Team Dynamics: Work in teams of 3-10 people on job sites.
Working Hours: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, though hours may vary by season and specific job requirements.
Dress Code: Boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt.
