What Billing Solutions contributes to Cardinal HealthBilling Solutions is responsible for finance related activities such as customer carrier/courier, and vendor contract administration, pricing, and billing.

Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, systems, controls, and work streams.

Demonstrates experience working collaboratively in a finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.

Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.

Demonstrates ability to respond to non-standard requests from carriers /couriers, customers, and vendors.

Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.

Responsibilities

Manages day-to-day operations of customer billing, carrier cost audit, remittance, and reconciliation.

Accountable for billing performance including but not limited to cycle times and invoice accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

8-12 years of experience, preferred

Analytical background

Strong communication skills

Process improvement skillset

Excel and/or SQL knowledge

Transportation or Carrier experience desirable

Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, frontline supervisors and/or business support staff

Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

Ensures employees operate within guidelines

Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers

Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management

Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects

Gains consensus from various parties involved
