Job DescriptionSupervises Level 1 and Level 2 probation/parole clients. Supervises Level 1 and Level 3 pretrial release supervision clients. Conducts monitoring appointments with clients by reviewing their progress on supervision and assessing their compliance with Court Ordered conditions and supervision requirements. Prepares reports to include but not limited to presentence investigations, reports of violations, and progress reports. Addresses Risk Needs Responsivity through in-person communication with clients using resource materials/guides/homework, etc. as well as referrals to community partners for treatment needs such as mental health and substance abuse. Verifies clients with compliance to treatment through collateral checks with referral sources. Monitors substance use via urinalysis testing. Co-facilitates informational and/or educational groups as assigned. Completes risks assessments such as IRR and DRAOR. Maintains client's electronic case files utilizing the ICON database through entering/updating relevant data screens. Completes ongoing training(s) as mandated to include but not limited to assigned e-learning modules.Monitors Level I and Level II probation/parole clients and Level I and III pretrial release supervision clients by reviewing their progress on supervision and assessing their compliance with Court Ordered conditions and supervision requirements. Prepares complete presentence investigation reports accurately and concisely. Assesses client's initial risks/needs utilizing assessment tools such as the IRR and DRAOR. Annually updates client's IRR assessment(s). Updates DRAOR if needed. Conducts collateral contacts appropriate to supervision and investigation (employment, education, treatment, etc.) Administers urinalyses and breathalyzers to monitor client's substance abuse/sobriety. Conducts home visits. Completes transfer investigations as assigned. Prepares progress reports/reports of violation as needed. Attends Court/parole hearings as needed. Accurately maintains client's electronic case files utilizing the ICON database through entering/updating relevant data screens. Completes ongoing training(s) as mandated to include but not limited to assigned e-learning modules. Receives client's receipts and processes payments for outstanding fees. Prepares supervision discharge reports as necessary. Co-facilitates informational and/or educational groups as assigned. Assists with intake procedures as assigned. Completes and files reports with the Court as necessary and/or as assigned utilizing the Court's electronic filing systems. Utilizes referrals to community treatment and/or support resources to address client's Court Ordered requirements or in response to need. Enters payroll time records to account for hours worked and any requested leave. Collaborates with clients, co-workers and stakeholders to ensure an ongoing commitment to the agency's efforts with regard to diversity and inclusion.Hours: M-F; 7AM - 8PM, travel variableMinimum Qualification RequirementsApplicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in any field.

A total of two years of education and/or full-time experience in a human services or criminal justice field, where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.

Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes 18 months of full-time work as a Residential Officer.
