Originally producing cereal, the factory became a pet food-only manufacturer in the late ‘90s and as the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S., it carefully produces, packages, and ships several varieties of our Dog Chow®, Puppy Chow®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Purina ONE®, Cat Chow®, Friskies®, and Kit N Kaboodle® brands.Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for logistics and coordination? We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Davenport. This role is pivotal to our warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shipping and receiving processes. Manage the daily warehouse shipping schedule by directing the activities for loading and shipping products.

Maintain warehouse records and perform job assignments to meet warehouse and customer satisfaction goals.

Perform clerical duties directly related to warehouse activity, including preparing and maintaining productivity reports and shipping documents.

Coordinate the movement of trailers and assist with the transfer of products between factory and outside storage.

Prioritize and manage workload using various tools and software systems including SAP, OM, and WMS.

Communicate effectively with drivers, forklift operators, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Must be able to work back shifts, overtime and weekends.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

1+ years logistics and administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $37,000 to $52,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
