Description

This job is for someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half Technology is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment with a company in the Service field. We encourage candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization to apply to this Help Desk Analyst position. Located in the surrounding area of Davenport, Iowa, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a full-time role. This is a Direct Hire position, some remote option, but not 100% remote. Responsibilities

- Provide IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

- Reply and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

- Troubleshoot recurring technical issues and suggest solutions to address the root of the problems

- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

Requirements

- Proven experience in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- Understanding of basic networking concepts

- Working knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

- Practical knowledge of scanner

- MS Windows 10 experience preferred

- Basic Troubleshooting experience

- General familiarity with iOS Devices

- Adeptness in Wi-Fi

- Comprehensive knowledge of Basic Network Troubleshooting

- Demonstrated knowledge of Peripheral Devices

- Strong familiarity with Hardware Troubleshooting

- Printer Problems experience highly preferred

- Microsoft Office 365 experience

- Experience with IT support ticketing systems

- Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
