Assumes responsibility for the Environment of Care (EOC), Life (Fire) Safety (LS)and Emergency Management (EM) programs at assigned facilities
Maintains inspection records and findings for EOC, LS and EM programs; provides suggestions for improvement to all programs
Leads assigned facilities Safety (EOC) and EM Committees; schedules and leads meetings; maintains appropriate documentation
Leads in-house training with leadership and employees about environmental health and safety issues
Carries out environmental safety accident investigations on site and produces subsequent reports and recommendations to appropriate leadership
Plans practical and effective methods of promoting health and environmental safety and safe working practices
Functions as a liaison with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulations
Assumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through participation in department meetings, in-service programs and continuing educations programs.
