What You'll Do
Cut and prepare meats for our meat cases, using outstanding knife skills, equipment, and/or machinery.
Interact with customers and team members daily
Provide outstanding customer service in a retail and counter-service environment
Spend frequent and extended periods of time in chilled and freezer environments working with a variety of natural animal products
Lift and carry 50 – 75 pounds on a regular basis
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience as a journeyman or above cutting all varieties and cuts of fresh meats in a restaurant, grocery or locker/ meat market setting.
Knowledge of seafood products and preparation
Outstanding knife skills
Experience in preparing specialty products (sausage, smoked, and meal ready)
Demonstrated retail customer service experience and skills
Familiarity with organic and natural foods
Attention to detail and ability to work long hours
Experience on all machinery and equipment used in a full service meat and seafood preparation facility
Ability to read and speak English and perform simple math problems
Enthusiasm for working in fast-paced creative environment
