Fabricator

Hagie Manufacturing is seeking a qualified candidate to be part of our Fabrication Team in Clarion, IA.  This position will machine parts on CNC machine tools designed to turn, drill, bore, and/or mill production material and operate lasers and brake presses in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Turn, drill, bore, and/or mill parts to specification using CNC machining tools and processes. Operate one or more CNC machines to complete an operation. Operate a laser to cut piece parts from sheet steel. Operate various brake presses to bend parts to print. Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures. Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance. Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections. Use various types of CNC machine tools, material handling equipment, jigs, fixtures, measuring gages and instruments, and other applicable hand and power tools. Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling. Assist and support other team members. Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
