We are seeking an entry-level Project Analyst to provide critical support to our technical teams within the Collins Mission Systems Secure Programs ecosystem. As a Project Analyst, you will assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of work environment collaboration, connection, and security projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. You will support the team and programs by organizing project activities, tracking key milestones, and maintaining project documentation. What You Will Do

Assist senior project managers and teams in planning, tracking, and coordinating project tasks and deliverables

Support the maintenance of project schedules and ensure project timelines are up to date

Help monitor project budgets and resources, flagging potential risks or issues to senior staff

Organize and track project documentation, including meeting notes, timelines, reports, and change requests

Facilitate team meetings and follow up on action items to ensure project progress

Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status, milestones, and performance metrics

Financial analysis support including reporting, analysis, variance reporting, budgetary updates, etc.

Support teams in using Agile tools and methods, contributing to the coordination of scrum activities

Participate in cross-functional project reviews, learning how to drive communication and alignment between teams

Help resolve low-level project impediments by coordinating with team members and escalating when necessary

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for use in project planning and decision-making

Assist in developing and distributing training materials and guides for project tools and processes

What You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required ​

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance ​

What We Prefer

Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) is a plus

Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project and Jira) is preferred

Familiarity with Earned Value financial reporting, preferred

Self-starter with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
