Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a MDS-Long Term Care to work at a facility in Cedar Rapids, IA. These are registry positions with our company.Days/Nights: Night, 40 HRS, Contract 13 weeksPay Range: $62.00 HRThe location of this job is in West Union, IALocal and Travel positions available: Travel must be 50 miles from the facility – tax free travel stipend.Nurses provide regular care to long-term care patients. They collaborate with healthcare team members and physicians to ensure that each patient's care plan is followed.Common responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assessing and monitoring patients' health in accordance with medical laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Collecting patient data and organizing the information into reports for further research.
Communicating with health care teams to create applicable health care plans for patients.
Ensuring that patients have access to all the medical resources they need.
Making recommendations for patient support and healthcare facility operations to ensure that patient care procedures are integrated in accordance with medical law.
Assisting patients to enroll in Medicaid or healthcare insurance programs.
Providing support and coverage for other nurses in case of absence or illness.
Requirements:
The requirements are: At least one year (12 months) of MDS
A valid and current nurse license issued within the US
Valid and current CPR
