Description We are seeking a diligent, hard-working and detail-oriented individual to process and ensure timely payments for all product, freight, and expense invoices. Seeking an individual with accounting degree or 2-4 years of Accounts Payables experience. This is a fast paced position, must be tech savvy and able to learn MULTIPLE accounting and logistics systems. Pay is $19-22 based on experience. This is a contract to hire position. Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain vendor files with current information necessary for processing accounts payable.
Compare vendor invoices with receiving documentation accurately.
Research discrepancies immediately with warehouse receiving staff and resolve.
Ensure all invoices are paid within terms and verify if the invoices that offer a discount have the discount taken.
Work closely with buyers to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and Invoices.
Review open PO report monthly and follow up on items as needed.
Ensure all vendor statements are reviewed and missing invoices are requested.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts payable or related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
