Independent Consultant - Registered Dietitian - North Central IowaABCM Corporation - Westview Care Center (https://abcmcorporation.easyapply.co) Britt, IA $35.00 to $50.00 per hour Summary Under the direction of the Administrator/Corporate Dietitian:
Conducts nutrition assessments for all residents according to regulatory standards and screening of residents and nutritional risk
Works with the healthcare team to communicate nutritional recommendations individualized for each resident
Reviews and approves planned menus to ensure preferences, nutritional, and therapeutic needs of the residents are met
Provides support and consultation to the Dietary Manager in assessing and adjusting dietary systems, including education and training of staff members as needed
Qualifications / Requirements
Registered Dietitian in the state of Iowa and active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting preferred
Must desire/agree to provide services on an independent consultant basis
DCI Criminal History Record Check/Abuse and Neglect Registry Record Check required prior to providing services
Must comply with COVID-19 protocol and adhere to ABCM Corporation’s Person Directed Care philosophy
Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Schedule: Variable Hours, Flex Scheduling; Westview Care Center (Britt, IA), approx. 5-6 hours/wk; Concord Care Center (Garner, IA), approx. 3-4 hours/wk
Wage Range: $35.00/hr-$50.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
