Job DescriptionJoin our team at the Anamosa State Penitentiary as a Power Plant Engineer 4! Perform advanced journey level work and lead offenders in the operation and maintenance of the equipment at the Power plant supplying utility services to a correctional facility. The Power plant is located outside of the Penitentiary. Staff are responsible for the operation and maintenance of emergency electrical generation system, steam, water, and sewer systems in the powerhouse, and two water wells. Should have knowledge of the principles and procedures of fuel and equipment used in the operation, maintenance and repair of steam generating boilers, electrical generating turbines and generators or centralized air-conditioners and auxiliary equipment.
