Property Maintenance Tech - Ames & Slater

Ames (est. 60% of time will be spent there)
Slater (est. 40% of time will be spent there)

Hours: 8:00AM 4:30PM
Total Hours: 40hrs
Pay: $18-19/hr to start
Eligibility Requirements:
Fairly clean 5 year background (no lifetime theft, violent felony, sex offense, or crimes against women or children)
Full, unrestricted Iowa Drivers License privileges
DUTIES
Apartment/Property Maintenance
Make Ready / restoring units to like new condition
Completing repair orders, scheduling preventative maintenance (including paperwork)
Repairing ovens, refrigerators, furnaces, hot water heaters, air conditioning, motors, pumps and all equipment
Maintaining/clearing interior and exterior drain lines
Window & Door repair/replacement - broken windows, screen inserts, shades, brackets, rods, door knobs, locks, doors, etc.
Minor carpentry, electrical systems, water, gas and sewer lines, roofs, walls, floors, gutters and downspouts
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Proven maintenance tech experience.
Skilled use of hand & power tools, and voltage meter
Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
Professional presentation and attitude.
Available for overtime work when necessary, handle emergency requests after work hours.
Valid DL
Personal basic hand tool set (hammer, cutters, tape measure, drill, screw drivers
