Job Responsibilities Under general direction, provides basic and advanced emergency medical care for assessment/evaluation, treatment, stabilization, and transport of the ill and injured for 911 response, inter-facility transfers, event medical support, and disasters. Provides security, emergency/code response, and patient care functions in hospital. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care. Required Qualifications
Valid Paramedic certification for Iowa.
National Paramedic Certification through NREMT if licensed after 2006.
Valid Iowa Chauffeur license and eligibility for coverage under Mary Greeley Medical Center’s insurance and maintained throughout employment.
Graduation from a paramedic program with BETS approved skills.
