Use your expertise to offer tailored advice on academic, personal, and immigration-related matters, helping students navigate their unique challenges.
Provide cultural adjustment counseling, equipping students with the tools they need to adapt and succeed.
Resource Connector
Collaborate with various university departments—such as admissions, academic advising, and housing—to ensure that international students have access to essential resources tailored to their needs.
Support students during emergencies or crises, offering compassionate assistance in health and legal matters.
Lead and Innovate
Take on leadership roles in departmental projects and initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of international student programs and services.
Help shape policies and practices that improve the student experience and ensure compliance with immigration regulations.
Student Immigration Management
Serve as a Designated School Official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and an Alternate Responsible Officer with the U.S. Department of State.
Maintain accurate records and use university systems to monitor and support student immigration status.
Mentorship and Training
Train and mentor junior advisors, sharing your knowledge and passion for international student services.
Lead scholarship initiatives, selecting and coordinating committees to recognize deserving international students.
Engagement and Outreach
Promote international student services through workshops, seminars, and informational sessions, fostering a vibrant community.
Collaborate with university committees and local organizations to enhance international student engagement and support.
