If so, The Department of Extension Information Technology with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach seeks qualified candidates for the Information Technology Support II position! The position of Information Technology Support II will manage the student-run support hotline and will be on the support hotline when student staffing is unavailable or call volumes are high. This individual will also perform administrative tasks such as password resets and granting permissions. The Information Technology Support II position will supervise students with new computer setups and repairs along with overseeing computer hardware purchasing for Extension and Outreach.In addition, the Information Technology Support II will provide support to VIPs within Extension and Outreach. This position offers second-level support for Apple products, updates/maintains computer task checklists, and manages Extension’s portion of the ServiceNow support database.The successful candidate will have exceptional management, organizational, written, and oral communication skills. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to make independent judgments, and taking initiative on projects is essential.
